Project managed and prepared planning advice and assessment of environmental effects for the skate park facility for the Taylors Mistake Reserve in Whitianga at no cost to the community.  The new skate park has been designed to replace the existing facility within the same reserve and has been designed as a public skatepark and youth space for Skateboarders, Scooter and BMX riders.  Centrally located within the Whitianga Town Centre the facility will provide a positive youth focussed recreation space for the Mercury Bay Community.   Planners Plus Limited identified various potentially affected parties and undertook consultation with the key stakeholders associated with the project.  The necessary written approvals were obtained, and the application was processed on a non-notified basis.
